For our Client, the largest space and aeronautics company in Europe, a worldwide leader providing the most efficient civil and military helicopter solutions, we are currently seeking:

Financial Controller

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinating finance and accounting operations and overseeing outsourced accounting functions
  • Adhering to policies and procedures and further developing them
  • Generating financial reports periodically and ensuring that financial reports comply with current accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Coordinating preparation of regulatory reporting, the budget, financial forecasts, report variances and maintaining an adequate system of budgets, controls created to mitigate risk
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing process
  • Ensuring quality control over financial transactions, scheduling payments for accounts payable
  • Creating internal policies and spend controls
  • Performing the monthly and periodically financial, Board reporting and preparing the company’s annual report in cooperation with the external accountancy
  • Measuring company performance against external and internal benchmarks
  • Ensuring compliance to statutory law, finance, and tax regulations
  • Maintaining relationships with external auditors and banks
  • Supervising transaction-processing operations
  • Analyzing capital investments, contract negotiations, and pricing decisions.

CANDIDATE’S PROFILE:

  • Preferably Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience in preparation of the budget, financial forecasts as well as financial statements
  • Fluency in Polish and in English (speaking, reading & writing), at least B2 level
  • Ability to form strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and other accounting packages
  • Excellent organization and administration skills
