FIELD ENGINEERING MANAGER/INŻYNIER DS. TECHNICZNYCH

Field Engineering Manager has the mission of troubleshooting technical issues and quality problems applying solutions
to address problems that arise, writing reports to outline these issues, working with other departments proposing and
finding appropriate advises to help develop more efficient long-term practices.
The Field Engineering Manager helps defining warranty policies and establishing guidelines for claim management and
claim handling to be followed by colleagues operating in the market; is also able to give technical support to the local
sales teams on specific problems related to the products and applications, often ensuring the presence on site, and
organizing trainings and internal documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsibility to validate the local claim lists
  • Cooperation with the local staff in communication with customers, providing technical explanations for possible
    root causes of problems
  • Organize benchmarking and product evaluation, including evaluation of main competitors in order to check
    their performance and evaluate whether they meet compliance standard
  • Making claim forecast and statistical analysis, identify critical areas supporting the development of appropriate
    solutions in agreement with other functions (R&D, Industrial Quality, Original Equipment, Marketing, Supply
    Chain)
  • Reporting relevant issues related to product quality coming from the market to involved departments, defining
    main priorities
  • Constantly monitor claim trend and related costs, identifying critical areas and developing appropriate
    solutions.

CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:

  • Extensive experience in Field Engineering position or in a Technical position of minimum 5 years in tire,
    automotive industry or related
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to identify problem root causes, finding and proposing solutions to them
  • Appropriate to resolve conflict with a positive outcome for the customers and company
  • Availability to frequent business trips abroad
  • Master’s degree in technical/scientific areas is preferable, bachelor’s degree in same area is acceptable
  • Fluent communication in Polish and English (at least B2 level), both spoken and written.
